Exercise 1:

Combine each pair of sentences  using and, or, but, because or so thru the conjunction given in brackets to make a new sentence. Make the sentence meaningful by doing this:

  1. We can go to mall. We can go to movie.
  2. Shilpa likes chocolate. Pallavi likes roses.
  3. Some children were confident to fire crackers inside the school washroom. I was scared to do so.
  4. Do you want to have sprouted grams for breakfast? Would you rather have some sweets?
  5. Sonam needs to consume nutritious diet during her pregnancy. She needs to take more rest.
  6. Yudhisthir is going to his home town. His bike becomes out of order on the way.
  7. Mr. Chouhan wants his house to be renovated. He has hired laborers for this purpose.
  8. Shiva is going to the shopping mall. He has purchased a blue luggage bag for his younger brother.
  9.  Vishnu is going to the temple. He sees a man fallen down on the road and takes him to the hospital.
  10. The colony children are playing hide and seek. Chintu joins them.

Answer:

  1. We can go to mall, or we can go to movie.
